The Scoop on Manufactured Home Efficiency

NEEM News, Retailer Edition: $2,000 NEEM+ Display Home Incentive is Back

Order a display home with NEEM+ and get $2,000

Exclusive opportunity for retailers selling homes by the four factories offering NEEM+: Clayton/Golden West/Karsten, KIT CustomBuilders, Palm Harbor, and Skyline!

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, a group funded by many of the region’s utility companies, is partnering with the NEEM program to renew its offer of $2,000 to retailers for ordering new display homes for their sales centers that include ENERGY STAR with NEEM+. Act now, because the promotion is limited to 10 homes, and the offer ends December 31, 2022. Retailers who have taken advantage of this offer in past years can qualify for up to two additional incentive payments this year.

Why are we doing this? We know that home retailers carefully choose what options to include in their display homes to make them appealing to buyers and that many buyers choose to buy a home (almost) “just like” the display home. We think that once you have NEEM+ on the lot, it will start to sell itself. And, we’ll pay you to see for yourself!

How it works:

  1. Reserve your $2,000 promotional incentive by contacting Northwest Energy Works via email or by calling 888-370-3277

  2. Order a new display home for your lot with the ENERGY STAR with NEEM+ option

  3. Notify Northwest Energy Works when the home goes into production at the factory

  4. The factory will enter the home into the NEEM program database while it is in production

  5. Northwest Energy Works will send your incentive payment

The fine print:

  1. Promotion is limited to two homes per retail location, and ten homes in total

  2. Incentives must be reserved in advance by contacting the NEEM program administrator, Northwest Energy Works via email or by calling 888-370-3277

  3. Homes must be entered into the NEEM database by the factory by December 31, 2022.

  4. We have developed “callout cards” that describe the NEEM+ features and we request that they be displayed inside homes that receive incentive payments

  5. The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance is sponsoring this promotion, and it is subject to their Terms and Conditions.
